Bevrijdingspop (Haarlem, Holland)
Undoubtedly, the most demanding of this selection. Takes place on May 5th, Day of the Liberation of Holland, that’s why peace and freedom occupy such a prominent place in this festival. Several festivals are organized throughout the country, but this is undoubtedly the most spectacular of all. The Bevrijdingspop is completely free. Within its program, it combines genres and activities as disparate as classical music, rap, pop, debates, poetry and a ceremony with the fire of liberation.
Nuits Sonores (Lyon, France)
This festival is the ideal way to visit the French city in a different way. Les Nuits Sonores celebrates its 16th edition from next May 6th to 13th being faithful to its urban vocation. Artists and DJs of underground electronic music meet to offer their performances in some of the most unusual, interesting and beautiful places in the historic city. The former factories Fagor-Brandt, Sucrière, the Lyon Auditorium, Le Transbordeur and the Tony Bertrand Nautical Center are the main locations chosen for 2018. There are many electronic music festivals but the multidisciplinary, inclusive and cultural spirit of this one makes it a very good option.
Jazz Festival of Saint Germain des Prés (Paris)
This mythical Parisian neighborhood welcomes the spirit of jazz since 2001 with some of its most emblematic buildings as a backdrop. I Days Milano (Milan)
