Since opening in spring, L’Anxova Divina has become one of Barcelona’s best-kept secrets. Located in the heart of Port Fòrum, this new tapas bar inside the SLS Barcelona hotel combines the best of traditional Catalan cuisine with Mediterranean spirit and sustainable awareness.
Behind the cooker is chef Oriol Lagé who, after several years working as a gastronomic project consultant, returns to the scene to delight families and friends with a good vermouth. The restaurant works with small local producers and reinforces its commitment to responsible gastronomy with a taste of the sea.

Oriol Lagé is still remembered for his beginnings at the iconic OT restaurant, and at L’Anxova Divina he recaptures some of that essence. We find dishes such as hazelnut coca with anchovies, grilled mussels and toasted brioche with black garlic butter and fried capers. Each flavour evokes the legacy he has built, while celebrating local produce in the new autumn menu.
It is a restaurant open to the city. Although it is part of the hotel, it is open to the public, so anyone can come without having to go through the hotel to enter.
With the arrival of October, L’Anxova Divina presents a new gastronomic season. Among its dishes are the classic anchovies that can be enjoyed in croquettes, mini butifarra del perol bombs with roasted garlic aioli, rice dishes, monkfish romescada, veal fricandó, seasonal vegetables, and a charcuterie board, among others. As for desserts, the traditional crema catalana with carquinyolis and flan remain the reference.

They classify themselves as global providers of ‘good vibes’, and there’s nothing like enjoying a good vermouth. Every Saturday from October to December, L’Anxova Divina offers Vermouth Sessions, featuring the best appetisers from Espinales. For example, patatas bravas, Gordal olives or a selection of artisan preserves.

All this in a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere to the beat of vinyl music by DJ @jules_barcoulona. What’s more, the cocktails have been reinvented, and diners who like to discover new flavours can try the Vermouth Julep, a combination of amaro, grapefruit juice and mint.
Designed by AvroKO, the interior of L’Anxova Divina reflects Gaudí’s spirit through its curves, colours and textures. The interior features a large dining room and bar, and opens onto a terrace facing the harbour. Although it is part of the SLS Barcelona hotel, it is not reserved for guests only, as everyone is welcome without having to enter the hotel itself.
Open every day from 12.00h to 20.00h
Carrer de la Pau, 2, Barcelona.
