The name Leo Messi is known worldwide for his successful soccer career. Now, the famous athlete has wanted to enter the fashion world with The Messi Store, a store online where you can get, exclusively, a collection of premium garments with a casual and sporty touch. The footballer has stated: 

“I like to explore different areas that are interesting beyond sport, I always try to take every opportunity to get involved in something new and exciting, so launching my own fashion line is something I was really looking forward to and something I hope people enjoy as much as I do when they discover it.”

The Messi brand offers a high-quality men’s fashion line, simple lines, casual style and a basic chromatic range. For now, The Messi Store offers eight pieces for sale, including sweatshirts, polo shirts and T-shirts. Although new limited edition collections will be added little by little.

The brand is also headed by Ginny Hilfiger as Creative Director. Tommy Hilfiger’s sister has a wealth of experience in the world of sports and everyday fashion, having worked for Tommy Hilfiger or Fila. The designer aims to reflect the style and figure of the athlete in the garments: .

“Our goal is to stay true to Leo’s persona and push the boundaries of what it means to be a global soccer icon and inspirational athlete on and off the field, with a ‘cool’ and classic fashion style. Our designs aim to be spontaneous and accessible to everyone.”

The presentation of the firm took place in Santa Eulalia, Barcelona.

The official launch of the new brand took place in Santa Eulalia, a reference in terms of fashion stores and in the heart of Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona. In addition to the brand’s own collection, the collaboration with the London menswear brand Richard James was presented at Santa Eulalia. This special union has resulted in a line that will be available only in the Barcelona store.
