Converted into a reference brand in hair care, Moroccanoil is a leader and pioneer in beauty products with Argan oil. On the occasion of the new Dry Shampoo launch, last June 14 was the presentation at the salon Factory 236 Beauty Concept BCN by the global ambassador and alma mater of Moroccanoil, Antonio Corral Calero (with permission from its creator Carmen Tal).
The fruitful professional relationship between the known stylist and the brand was perfectly demonstrated when he explained the benefits of Dry Shampoo, created to clean dry hair. Its composition with rice starch helps to the absorption of fat and keeps hair hydrated and revitalized.
The novelty of this new product is that it takes into account the tone of the hair. Moroccanoil has developed a Dry Shampoo for light and blond colors and another one for dark shades, achieving the perfect equation for smooth and shiny hair with volume.
Under the framework of a magical and amazing scenery, Factory Beauty Concept 236 BCN has become in a short time in a unique space, located on a XVIII century farm in the heart of the Barcelona’s Golden Triangle. The living room has an exquisite decoration, where the wood interiors and old leather armchairs live in harmony with an exclusive hair salon, cultural events, art exhibitions and fashion shows. Professionalism and care of the Factory 236 team under a relaxed and privileged atmosphere make it an unexpected sensory experience.
The architect of this new project is Antonio Corral Calero, considered one of the top 5 stylists in the world with more than 20 years of experience. With a very special vision of beauty, it’s surprising his friendly and close treatment and his overwhelming personality that conquers you. Passionate about his creative work that has successfully passed all the challenges which have put him ahead.

Born in Barcelona, he developed a special sensitivity to understand women thanks to grow along with three sisters (“I am the guy middle”), her mother and grandmother, a connection that helped him years later to treat his clients. Antonio admits that his career has provided great opportunities “like traveling the world to meet and work with wonderful people”. In the beginnings, when he left home “at the age of 18 years”, he worked as a “model in New York, makeup stylist in France” and “collaborating in Barcelona with the master Lluis Longueras”.
A tireless nomad, his travels in the big fashion capitals such as London, Paris, Milan and New York have allowed him to learn 6 languages: “Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese and a little of Hebrew”. He recognizes that “the fun of learning languages is that you can approach deeper into the thoughts of others and get their emotions”.
Antonio has become a major presence in the most important Fashion Weeks, working directly in the hair stylings of designers like Zac Posen, Marchesa, Diane Von Furstenberg, Just Cavalli, Rachel Zoe, DelPozo and Alexandre Herchcovitch. As he himself tells us “the process of creating a hair stylist for a fashion collection starts looking, because there must be consistency between what the designer wants to show and hairstyle. The collections become my main source of inspiration”.
As a trendsetter, for this Spring/Summer 2016 season Antonio predicts a boom of the braids used as hair accessory, carried almost as an embellishment”.
Also “broken waves with moving and semi-collected hairstyles, in a very natural way”.

As for the cuts, “the midi hair that has triumphed this Winter continues reigning in Summer“, but he says that “it’s trend to wear this hair somewhat longer, up to the shoulder blade and more straight. The long bangs become a very versatile option for a new look with a little effort”, the expert advices.
Among his immediate projects, the stylist would like “to do television and to be a benchmark in fashion, working in different programs, giving his vision as someone who has created trends, where he can comment and advise” and also to bring to market “a line of skin and hair care”.
His meteoric career in the fashion industry is very healthy and he claims to have worked hard to get to the top. But Antonio Corral continues having a goal: to do more powerful women through beauty.
