Barcelona is ready to welcome the sixth edition of Passeig de Gourmets. A gastronomic route that offers to taste the best dishes while walking the mythical and central Passeig de Gràcia. From March 9 to 19, ten days of culinary experiences that come with two new sections: Signature Sandwiches and Themed Dinners;

This new edition of Passeig de Gourmets comes loaded with new features for all types of diners to enjoy five types of routes in Passeig de Gràcia and adjacent streets. Through 21 restaurants, it starts with the Ruta dels platillos and Bocadillos de autor, two casual and light proposals; the Menús Gourmet and Cenas Temáticas accompanying them with the best cavas, and the Experiencias Gourmet, taking part in the kitchens to learn the best dishes and cocktails. In addition, it is very special, as Passeig de Gràcia celebrates 200 years.

Themed Dinner Route where the truffle is the protagonist, the surrealist dishes of Dalí or the nights of the 80’s.

To start  the route of the themed dinners within the gastronomic festival, we advance you the restaurants and schedules of the Themed Dinners offered by the restaurants  (between 55€ and 70€):.

    • On March 9, from 19.30h to 22.00h, the SOLC restaurant of the hotel Majestic organizes the dinner around the essence of the truffle with: coca pizza crunchy truffled Burratina, low temperature free range egg with chard stalk and truffle. In addition, main courses expect a fillet of sole with truffled vegetable parmentier, and  a sirloin steak with potato and truffle millefeuille. And for dessert crunchy cookie, textured Jivara, pear and raspberry;
    • On March 14 and 15, the restaurant Solomillo will play with the flavors of the truffle and the cut of meat, from 20.00h to 22.30h.
    • On March 15, at 20.30h, the restaurant Moments, of the hotel group Mandarin Oriental, bets on Les diners de Gala, referring to Salvador Dalí. The price for the themed dinner is around 290 euros.
    • On March 17, at 21.00h, the restaurant Sintonia, recreates the nights of the 80s with the most legendary songs of the time;

The name of the restaurant already indicates it, Sintonía, and it has everything ready to take the diners to the 80’s through the best music of the time.

The Bocadillos de Autor arrive as a more casual novelty

The second novelty at Passeig de Gourmets is the new Bocadillos de Autor route, a more informal and quicker gastronomic proposal. For this first entry in the festival, six sandwiches are presented with drinks included (between 9 and 16.50€).

    • The restaurant Somni, of The One Barcelona, awaits its diners with a sea and mountain of crispy oysters and chicharrón confit with sriracha mayonnaise. Every day from 5:30 p.m. to midnight for 18 euros.
    • Verbena Terrace, from Monument Hotel, transforms the essence of chef Martín Berasategui into the Bokata Martintxo. A sandwich made with Galician beef fillet and sardine cream. Every day from 12.30h to 22.30h for 19 euros.
    • The Solomillo restaurant offers a beef brioche marinated in ponzu, umami mayonnaise and Japanese onion. Every day from 13.00h to 23.00h for 16 euros.

    • Alma Barcelona, bets for the classic bikini, but with new touches, using truffle together with Iberian ham and brie cheese. Every day from 12.00h to 13.30h and from 17.00h to 20.30h for 18 euros.
    • La Terraza of the Claris Hotel presents itself with a soft shell crab roll with tamarind thai sauce. Every day from 11.30am to 7.30pm for €9.
    • And in LomoBajo they offer a Calaf smoked sausage sandwich with Puigpedrós cheese and escalivada. Every day from 13.00h to 23.30h for 16,50 euros.

Gourmet Menus: a more special experience if accompanied with D.O. Cava

In the Gourmet Menussection, ten restaurants are participating. With a prior reservation, diners will be able to taste haute cuisine (between 55 and 70€):.

    • MR Porter Barcelona. Unien la traditional brasserie elevating it to a new level of style. Everyday from 19:00h to 00:00h. Sundays from 13:00h to 16:00h and from 19:00h to 00:00h..
    • Sintonia. Classic dishes brought with new flavors. Everyday from 13:00h to 16:00h and from 20:00h to 23:00h. .
    • LomoAlto. The main course of cbeef matured under a unique premise: select the best pieces offered by the market. Every day from 13:00h to 15:30h and from 20:00h to 23:30h..

The SOLC restaurant at the Majestic Hotel presents a local menu. It includes dishes such as pumpkin ravioli or cod fritters with thyme air.

    • The hotel Majesticis part with its restaurant, Restaurant SOLC, headed by Michelin-starred chef Nandu Jubany, will surprise gastronomy lovers with cCatalan cuisine and its local produce. From Wednesday to Saturday from 19.30h to 22.00h..
    • Belbo Fasto. The restaurantoffers references of traditional Italian cuisine, as well as innovative touches. From 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm..
    • The One Barcelona, with Somni Restaurant. They offer to rediscover cannelloni through chef Miguel Muñoz. From Tuesday to Saturday from 19:30h to 22:30h..

Belbo Fasto presents itself as a reference in traditional Italian food. They bring to the table a menu that does not forget dishes such as funghi risotto or a delicious carbonara.

    • Restaurante Solomillo. It boosts the potential of the meat, accompanying it, in addition, with special cheese and vegetable sauces. Monday to Sunday from 13:00h to 15:30h and Tuesday to Saturday from 20:00h to 22:30h..
    • La Terraza del Claris at Claris Hotel & SPA. It offers seasonal cuisine and proximity.  Every day from 13:00 to 15:30 and from 20:00 to 23:30h..

Mandarin Oriental’s Blanc restaurant has developed a local menu.

    • Restaurante Blanc, by Mandarin Oriental. Elaboran sus platos con ingredientes de proximidad y productos locales. De 13:00h a 14:00h y de 20:00h a 21:30h (excepto domingo al mediodía)
    • Virens, el restaurante de Almanac Barcelona. Apuesta por una comida más vegetal, potenciando las verduras y el arte del chef Rodrigo de la Calle para llevarlo sobre los platos. De 20:00h a 22:00h.

Also, as you walk the route of the dishes, twelve are the participating restaurants. A quick proposal for 10 euros with cerveza Estrella Damm, a glass of Cava or a Coca-Cola, to choose from.

      • Hotel Casa Fuster in Cafè Vianés. It offers a dish of veal stewed at low temperature with Reus vermouth sauce, orange, pumpkin, peas and red peppers. Every day, except Thursday, from 17:00h to 20:00h.
      • Restaurante Sintonia. It arrives with Black squid croquettes with a spicy touch and parsley aioli. Every day from 13:00h to 14:00h and from 16:00h to 20:00h..
        • Santa Eulalia with The Bistrot. It has prepared a casserole of beans with cabbage and black sausage, something very typical Catalan.  Monday to Saturday, from 13:30h to 16:00h.

      • H10 Mimosa House. Diced red tuna with citrus demi-glace, creamy carrot and spicy cob. Every day from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
      • The One Barcelona and Somni Restaurant. Go for the Russian salad cannelloni with red coastal prawn tartar. Every day from 5:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
      • Solomillo Restaurant. Old cow at low temperature, sweet potato puree. Every day from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

  • The National. Ajoblanco with prawns and strawberries. Every day from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • Almanac Barcelona with the local Virens. Hood. Mellow pork and beef stew with chickpeas. Every day from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Earthly Belbo. Cronut with lamb tagine and citrus caviar. Every day from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Finally, for the workshops organized within the Gourmet ExperiencesTour, five restaurants are participating with dynamic activities by reservation.

    • On March 9, from 18.00h to 19.00h, for 25 euros, the restaurant Virens, of Almanac Barcelona, prepares a workshop for home brewing Kombucha, a booming beverage.
    • On March 11 and 18, from 17.00h to 18.00h, for 18 euros, the Os-Kuro restaurantof the Claris Hotel is planning a sake workshop.
    • On March 15, at 4.30pm, for €24, The One Barcelona is holding a cocktail workshop. Traveling through classic cocktails, contemporary and future mixology flavors.

    • Virens restaurant has organized a workshop for home brewing of kombucha drink

    • On March 15, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Majestic Hotel is preparing a special day with Nandu Jubany. Participants will form groups of 2 people while following the chef’s instructions to prepare the chosen recipe. An experience where you learn and enjoy cooking. In addition, the couple that prepares the dish as similar as possible to the original recipe will be awarded a night at the hotel with dinner at Restaurant SOLC..
    • On March 16, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Sintoniarestaurant Sintoniadevised a Steak Tartar workshop. But in this case, reservations are already full.

Thus, Passeig de Gràcia is once again wearing a white jacket. Enjoying the Passeig de Gourmetsroutesis a varied experience. Diners, as central elements, are also participants in the culinary world.
