Passeig de Gourmets returns from 14 to 24 October to showcase the city’s gastronomic talent thanks to the Passeig de Gràcia Association.

Carme Ruscalleda, Nando Jubany and Martín Berasategui are just some of the names of the great chefs taking part in this year’s Paseo de Gourmets. After the last edition was postponed in March due to the pandemic, the initiative is back to showcase the gastronomic talent of the Catalan capital. The event is organised by l’Associació del Passeig de Gràcia and its president, Luis Sans, comments:.

The March 2020 break is behind us, now it’s time to get back to filling the restaurants with our joy and zest for life. In Paseo de Gracia there is a lot of gastronomic talent and Passeig de Gourmets is the best time to discover it.

Plate route and Tasting Menu

Paseo de Gourmets offers several options for all tastes. The first is a platets route to sample the creations of Spain’s most renowned chefs in 13 different restaurants. To try the platets, which are slightly larger portions than tapas, you don’t need to book in advance. They cost €7 (with Estrella Damm, Juvé & Camps cava or Coca-Cola included).

Some of the restaurants participating in this proposal are the Almanac Barcelona restaurant at the Hotel Virens, the Cafè de la Pedrera, The Wine House Pop-Up Store or the Restaurante Solomillo.

In addition, for those who prefer a more relaxed evening, this route also offers tasting menus in different venues. Alma Barcelona, the restaurant Solc at the Hotel Majestic or the Blanc at the Hotel Mandarin Oriental are some of the restaurants where you can try a tasting menu for only 50€ with Estrella Damm, Coca-Cola or Royal Bliss beer included. .

Martín Berasategui and Xabi Goikoetxea in the restaurant Oria at the Monument Hotel, Nandu Jubany and Fina Puigdevall at Solc, at the Hotel Majestic and Sergio Ruiz and Rodrigo de la Calle at the restaurant Almanac Barcelona, at the Hotel Virens, are the options that   propose this year.
