Between April 7th and 9th the first edition of the Barcelona Watch Experience will be held and we hope is not the last time, since after seeing the variety of events that are prepared in the program, the truth is that it promises to be a success.

The BWE, much more than a fair of luxury watches
The leitmotif in this programming will be haute horlogerie. But not focusing on a business days where you can see and purchase the latest developments in the luxury sector. No. There will be more. Of course, there will be a second-hand market with premium watches, but there will be conferences, workshops and even curious experiences to join watches with gastronomy.

And all this practically without leaving Passeig de Gràcia where the epicentres of the Barcelona Watch Experience will concentrate.
The elegance of Passeig de Gràcia
There could be no better setting for the celebration of the BWE that this central avenue in Barcelona, one of the quintessential shopping areas in the Catalan capital. Because the Barcelona Watch Experience will enter the calendar of major events linked to haute horgolerie, such as the Geneva International Fair, Baselworld in Basel or the Salon QP in London. The BWE also intends to do so with its own personality and scheduling an event that joins the world of luxury and watches with the city, its shops, art and gastronomy.

A very ambitious plan but designed with care, to stimulate consumer, both local and foreign. Therefore, one of the most anticipated events will be the Luxury Jewelery & Watchmaking Experience shopping tour on Saturday 8th that will go over some of the most prestigious shops that open their doors in Passeig de Gracia and nearby.
The surprising BWE’s programming
This shopping tour will end in Vinacoteca Torres, where there will be another event more peculiar on Friday 7th, because there at 18:30 will be held a tasting titled Fases Lunares (Moon Phases) in which links between the world of watches and wines will be established.
This will not be the only act that will unite the haute horlogerie with the palate, since this Friday at the restaurant Galaxó of the Casa Fuster Hotel, there will be a lunch at 13:00 with a suggestive menu named Watches and Gastronomy, the great pleasure.

Casa Fuster is going to be one of the most used scenarios over the weekend of the BWE, as there are planned several conferences and there will be a workshop dedicated to taking pictures of watches, a task both specialized and singular.

If Casa Fuster is one of the key points of this meeting, another point will be the charming modernist building of El Palauet. Inside will take place the Watch Market, an elegant second-hand market where 45 international exhibitors will present unique pieces and will give you the opportunity to buy second-hand watches.

This Barcelona Watch Market is obviously spread to several jewelers and watchmakers of the city fully involved in this event. Indeed, the experience is intended to cover many areas of the city, for example, the Museum of Design in Barcelona has also included an interesting exhibition of watches ranging from the sixteenth to the twentieth century, because the goal is simply to link the haute horlogerie’s luxury, with art, gastronomy and tourism in Barcelona.
