Zielinski & Rozen was founded in 1905 in the ancient alleyways of Old Jaffa. Surrounded by artisans, merchants and the scent of spices, the family set up a small workshop that has now become an international brand that remains true to its original essence.

At the head of the company is perfumer Erez Zielinski Rozen, who has transformed those early fragrances into a contemporary project without losing sight of their origins. Zielinski & Rozen has travelled from Tel Aviv to more than a hundred cities around the world, and now this journey continues in Barcelona with two new openings.

On one hand, a boutique on Rosselló Street and on the other, an exclusive space in Luzio, in Turó Park. Both join the aromatic corner of Sitges and the legendary shop in El Born.

The fragrances that captivate

The brand offers a wide range of products, including perfumes, diffusers, candles, and hand and hair creams. Its soaps and air fresheners perfume iconic locations such as Milan’s Scala Theatre, the Cannes Film Festival, Barcelona’s Casa Fuster restaurant, and the prestigious Carpenters Gallery in Paris, among others.

The most popular fragrances include Black Pepper, Vetiver, Neroli and Amber, which adds freshness. While the aroma of Pink Pepper, Elemi, Cinnamon, and Leather offers a bolder profile, Black Vanilla conveys softness and sweetness. To set the mood at home, Orange & Jasmine candles transport you to a floral and citrus setting, and Cedarwood, Patchouli & Jasmine diffusers envelop you in their woody fragrance.

Artisanal aromas with a sustainable commitment

In recent years, there has been a strong push towards recycling and sustainability to keep the planet safe. Perfumery is also part of this conscious and artisanal vision. Its products are made from natural ingredients, although preservatives are used when necessary to ensure product quality. The fragrances are personally created by Erez Rozen and retain their artisanal production even when the final production is carried out in specialised factories.

In the same way that Japanese ceramics brand DORO is committed to durable tableware to curb high consumption and reuses paper and cardboard in its shipments, Zielinski & Rozen uses recycled glass, cardboard and plastics to minimise waste. In addition, they optimise shipments to reduce unnecessary transport and promote internal well-being by reinforcing trust, transparency and mutual care among employees.

The essence of Zielinski & Rozen

The brand’s growth remains a family affair. Erez and Lea Rozen, partners both inside and outside the perfumery, work alongside their three daughters to create fragrances that break away from labels and stereotypes. Their goal is not to determine how a person should smell, but to complement each person’s identity, in every moment, situation and emotion. In this way, they avoid differentiating between men and women; their perfumes are unisex, timeless and do not follow trends.

To explain their vision when creating, Zielinski & Rozen detail three essential elements that make up the fragrance pyramid. Family supports its base thanks to its warmth and sense of belonging. The second element is the courage and bravery to explore and think differently from the traditional. The act of forging your own path and highlighting the value of personal identity. Finally, the joy of being able to intertwine a brand fragrance with moments lived, which are relived every time the scent permeates you.
